TE: well, uh... i'm not quite sure how to answer that either yet.
XT: So the basic answer is yes , on some level .
TE: guess i can't navigate around that.
XT: What is the reason to hide any of this , though ?
XT: I do not quite understand . Am I a danger to gaining such knowledge ?
TE: wait what? no.
XT: My excitement alone about a discovery earlier has caused problems for Alethea and many others , MS abruptly cut off our brief conversat10n 5wiftly after I began to ask for details on their identity , and now you are refusing to let me in on what is going on with all of . . . whatever this is .
XT: You already avoid directly speaking to me in general , whenever possible . I doubt this conversation would even be happening to begin with if our usual mediator was present .
TE: look, i'm sorry about this. i'll tell you everything i know about this as soon as we get it figured out, alright?
TE: it's just... yes, things are going on, and we need to find out some way to fill you in without putting you off from getting involved with it.
TE: because it's something we really do want your participation in, but it's so incredulous that it's difficult to know the best way to bring it up, and i'm absolutely not the best adlet for the job, here.
XT: . . . I suppose I have no choice but to accept this and believe you , then .
TE: if it helps at all, a good number of us don't know what's going on yet, either. it's not just you being excluded, we just gotta figure out how to bring everyone together on this, under the right contexts and the right times.
TE: and i'm really torn right now because problems have already arisen from some of us sitting on this knowledge for too long, but again, i worry i'd mess this task up if i tried to bring you up to speed on my own.
TE: i just... need to convene with the others about this first. we'll fill you in soon, okay?
XT: Uh . Sure .
TE: i'm sorry, this whole thing was pointless and just lead to unneeded discomfort.
XT: And I am sorry I could not successfully fulfill my conversational role as the designated historian .
XT: I will see if I can figure anything else out about the glyphs you have sent me , and you can figure out how to talk to me about ongoing events .
XT: I trust we will hear from each other again before long .
