Kristan: Prattle someone else instead.

IX: Hey, sorry for the sudden specific question, but you remember Sverb right?
XI: yeah that weird game you and zariyah were going to play, what about it
IX: Did you happen to change your mind about not playing it, by any chance...?
XI: dude come on, its a game about houses, why do you think i would ever play a boring game like that
IX: Well I was just curious, because...
IX: I really think you should play it.
XI: is there anything deeper about it that we didnt know before then, because i really doubt there can be many redeeming qualities in a game about houses, its just not my sort of thing man
IX: ...I'll just say it's different than we all thought, yes.
XI: how so
IX: Er... it's more than just house building, for one.
XI: can you stop beating around the bush please, that much was already kind of obvious from our conversation so far but go on im listening
IX: Er... it has in-depth combat and relates to the apocalypse? It also seems to have this weird, crazy lore behind it. Not that we've gotten too deep into it ourselves.
XI: wait really, why did they only advertise it as a fuckin house building game then, i wouldnt be surprised if it ends up being some sort of obscure forgotten gem because of their terrible marketing, i guess ill look into it and give it a shot sometime though
IX: How soon of a "sometime" are we talking?
XI: just sometime, come on kristan you know i dont like to repeat myself
IX: Argh sorry. I really don't mean to sound pushy, but I really think you should play it with us as soon as possible.
XI: why
IX: Because... I'd really like you to? ^^;
XI: thats nice dude and it does mean a lot you appreciate my company but just because it turned out being a zombie combat shooter doesnt mean im going to instantly jump out and buy the thing, the apocalypse genre is already so overdone its hard to find actually decent games that use it, not that im necessarily doubting your choice in games, but even if it was really damn good i wouldnt just drop everything im doing on a dime to play it like that
IX: Wait, when did I ever say it was a zombie shooter?
XI: is it not? i figured it probably was when you said "apocalypse" knowing the way the game industry is
IX: Yeah, it's actually quite different from those sorts of games. It has a vibrant world, too! Instead of the usual bleak setting of grays and dull colors.
XI: i admit it is sounding more interesting with the more you say about it, but im still not completely sold, do you have any more facts to say and convince me otherwise or
IX: Well... no, we're admittedly still uh, really early on in it.
XI: then just let me play it on my own time, its kind of annoying being badgered into changing my plans for the night at the last second like this you know
IX: Sigh. Please?
XI: you dont have to ask me i already just sighed
IX: Smartass. :T
IX: But really, please..?
IX: You're pretty much my best friend aside from my sister, I could never forgive myself if I left you behind...
XI: oh lord why are you being so dramatic its just a game, youre usually not like this are you drunk
IX: No! You know I don't drink!
XI: sorry, youre just being kind of strange tonight
XI: ...
XI: if it helps you feel better at all we can play anti-shock together tonight if you want, or something else i already have
IX: This isn't... agh, this isn't like that dude.
XI: you usually dont get this worked up over games kristan, is everything alright?
