ATIEN: Of course!
ATIEN: I'm just the type of person to want to help people out if they need it, especially if it's something important like this.
EFRIX: I hope you're not implying I seem incapable.
ATIEN: No, not at all!
ATIEN: It's just, it sounds like something big, involving aliens and stuff?
ATIEN: And I think only two people sounds like an awfully small team to handle it on their own. It seems we could make great friends, too!
EFRIX: What.
ATIEN: Whoops, yeah that doesn't have much to do with mission stuff. But what about that purple fire robot thing we fought? You said you might not have been able to defeat it on your own, since you don't have much physical strength?
EFRIX: Well, yeah...
ATIEN: And I can only guess that there will be more stuff like that wherever you're going. Gilan doesn't seem like much of a fighter, either.
EFRIX: ...You have a point.
ATIEN: So, we'd make a good team, I think!
EFRIX: Our abilities do match up pretty well, but again, how can I be sure I can trust you...?
ATIEN: Hey, I can't completely trust you either, now can I?
ATIEN: I still do have a bit of suspision over the package delivery thing, after all. But that doesn't mean I don't want to help you.
EFRIX: Hm, the package delivery...
EFRIX: You know, I don't think this is very common knowledge, but magic does have a weird thing for causing coincidences.
EFRIX: Nobody is really sure why. Maybe it's because of the way it manipulates the very universe itself. But it explains how you happened to run into me once again, after so long. Even if our initial meeting wasn't much of a meeting at all.
EFRIX: Some could argue that these coincidences could even be attributed as fate. Could this very coincidence have been some sort of retroactive sign that I should accept your offer?
ATIEN: I have no clue what you're talking about, I'm sorry.
EFRIX: ...So you are truly sure about this?
ATIEN: Yup!
EFRIX: ...Very well. You can join me.
EFRIX: I guess now might be a good time to explain things to you. Would you like a soda?
